PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Mercer County Commission has joined counties across the nation in honoring America’s veterans through the National Association of Counties’ Operation Green Light initiative.

Commissioner Greg Puckett announced Tuesday night that from now until November 11, Mercer County will participate in Operation Green Light to “thank our veterans and also remember those that have gave so much for our country.”

Puckett encouraged residents and businesses to take part in the tribute.

“I also challenge every constituent to find a green light and use it at your home or business to join in this effort,” he said. “Thanks to all of our veterans! Please share use the hashtag #OperationGreenLight.”
