DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) - The Ward Two Water District is repairing a water line along Walker South Road (LA Highway 447) in Denham Springs.

Officials said that while repairs are underway, water pressure will drop below the Louisiana Department of Health’s minimum standard. As a result, the agency requires a boil advisory for affected customers.

The advisory only applies to customers on Walker South Road (LA Highway 447) between addresses 25641 and 25176.

Residents in the impacted area are urged to boil water for at least one full minute before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth until further notice.
