Former New Orleans Saints star quarterback Drew Brees , who is one of the most prolific passers in NFL history, is joining FOX Sports as an NFL analyst, according to Andrew Marchand .
Brees is joining FOX Sports in a full-time role and could replace Mark Sanchez, Marchand reports.
Sanchez was charged with attacking and seriously injuring a truck driver last month in Indianapolis.
Drew Brees has signed a multi-year deal with FOX and will begin working games with the network on Sunday, Nov. 16, according to Marchand. His exact debut game is not yet known.
A former Purdue star, Brees ranks second all-time in the NFL in passing yards with 80,358, behind only Tom Brady. The majority of those yards came while Brees was with the New Orleans Saints, where he played from 2006-2020 before
