JASPER COUNTY, Miss — Deputies in Jasper County, Mississippi, encountered an unusual and chaotic scene last week after a truck carrying rhesus monkeys overturned, allowing multiple animals to escape.

Bodycam video WWL Louisiana obtained from the sheriff’s office shows the moment deputies roll up, seemingly confused yet amused. They seem to find some humor in the novel situation.

"Dude, they're everywhere out here," a deputy can be heard saying. “I’ve seen a lot of s***, I ain't seen this."

The deputies can be seen speaking with the truck driver and attempting to account for the animals while some of the monkeys ran loose nearby. The video shows the moments the deputies try to contain the situation.
