ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Former U.S. attorney of New Mexico and candidate Alex Uballez conceded the Albuquerque mayoral race on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, after poll results revealed the former candidate in third place with 19% (25,209) of votes.

Incumbent Mayor Tim Keller led the polls with 36% (47, 893) followed by former Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White at 31% (41, 124). On Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, KOAT political expert Brian Sanderoff weighed in on the influence Uballez has in the upcoming mayoral runoff between Keller and White on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025.
