Howard senior middle blocker Dylann Loggins can sense the fear she puts in the hearts of opponents. At 6-foot-2, Loggins is often the tallest player on the floor and poses challenges for opposing hitters trying to find space.
With top-seeded Howard hosting No. 4 seed Centennial in a Class 3A North Region II final, Loggins’ made a drastic impact and instilled that fear factor in the Eagles.
“I definitely feel like whenever I step onto the court people are intimidated,” Loggins said. “Multiple times the ball was almost coming over, and they were coming toward the net and I could see, ‘Oh they’re stopping because I’m set up.’ It kind of feels like I’m Godzilla.”
