SpaceX’s Falcon 9 is targeting Thursday between 12:56 p.m. and 4:56 p.m. for the launch of 28 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
Officials report that residents in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties will unlikely hear sonic booms during the launch, although a low rumble at takeoff will be audible to those nearby depending on weather and other conditions.
Following stage separation, the first stage booster will return and touch town on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean for later retrieval.
This is the eighth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched SDA T1TL-B Tranche 1, SDA T1TL-C Tranche 1, and five Starlink missions
