MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN (PIX11) -- The Paley Center for Media is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with the Grand Opening of newly renovated spaces, including The Bennack Theater and the George J. Gillespie III Theater.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday night at the Paley Museum, located on West 52nd Street in Manhattan.

Board of Trustees Members, Eli Manning and Robert Kraft, were among those in attendance.

Maureen J. Reidy, the President and CEO of the Paley Center for Media, said, "With blockbuster exhibits, interactive experiences, and impactful programs, Paley provides a year-round lineup that is entertaining and educational."

The Paley Museum was originally the Museum of Broadcasting. It was founded by William S. Paley in 1975.
