A woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in an industrial area of Scarborough.

Toronto police say a pick-up truck crashed in the Markham Road and Finch Avenue East area just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say a man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The ages of the man and woman were not immediately available.
