EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Some south-western Indiana high school marching bands are gearing up for a big weekend in Indianapolis.

Eight local bands have advanced to the state competition at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday. Eyewitness News is visiting several schools this week during their final practices.

Tonight we headed to North High School. The Huskies advanced in class B. We're told their training began in the spring and the band has been practicing non-stop since July for this big moment.
