SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announced applications are open for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant competition.
ISBE said that the grant competition will provide an estimated $37.8 million in federal funding over the next three years.
The competition is funded through Title IV, Part B of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the program that ultimately supports schools and other community organizations in establishing or expanding after-school programs helping students meet learning expectations.
