CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- For the fourth season Illinois women's basketball has opened the season with a win staying undefeated in season openers under Head Coach Shauna Green.

While they have some returners from last year they also have several key new players this season so getting a win under their belt is helping build confidence for the team.

First time in front of fans during the regular season Green said they will continue to grow through experience and learn from each game win or lose.
