The Yorkton Terriers evened their northern road swing at one-and-one after a 6–2 win over the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Wednesday night.

Jye Zawatsky led the way with two goals, while Gabriel Courchesne chipped in a goal and two assists. Mikale Budz, Cash Lanigan, and Austin Horbachewsky also found the back of the net for Yorkton. William Knox and Everett Merchant replied for La Ronge.

Goaltender Alexandro Montoya was solid, turning aside 34 of 36 shots for the Terriers, who now get a day off before back-to-back games in Battleford Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, in Melfort — the Flin Flon Bombers stretched their win streak to three with a 2–1 victory over the Mustangs.
