WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) - Starting Wednesday, Nov. 5, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office lit up its building in green as part of Operation Green Light, an event coordinated by the National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Veterans Services Officers, an agency Facebook post said.

The lights on the building will stay green through Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, to stand in solidarity with those who served.

“We thank all of our service members for their dedication to this great nation and the communities within,” the post said
