CORALVILLE, IA (Dakota News Now) -The top-ranked Western Christian Wolfpack took a 2-1 lead over Humboldt in the State 3-A Volleyball semifinals in Coralville, IA Wednesday. But the Wildcats rallied for a dramatic 3-2 win with Alivia Goodell getting the block to win the tie-breaker 15-13.
Adelyn Goodell led the way for the winners who are now 32-6 with 21 kills.
Morgan Kooiman had 20 kills for the Wolfpack who’s season ends at 38-10. It was the 25th consecutive semifinal appearance for Tammy VeerBeek’s team. Western Christian has won 19 state championships!
