OMAHA, NE (Dakota News Now) -South Dakota basketball fell on the road Wednesday night 92-76 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska to No. 23 Creighton.
Isaac Bruns paced the Yotes with 16 points and three rebounds on 6-of-13 shooting, while Vince Buzelis scored in double-figures for the first time in his career with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and had five rebounds and three blocks. Jordan Crawford chipped in 14 points with three 3-pointers, his first game of the season with multiple triples. Evan Anderson secured seven rebounds with six coming off the offensive glass.
The Yotes forced 13 turnovers and scored 17 points off the Bluejay miscues, but Creighton secured 19 offensive rebounds, had 29 second chance points, 24 fast break points and scored 54 points in the paint.
