A two-year-old boy has died after an incident involving a vehicle on a rural property in north Queensland.
Emergency services are at the scene on Venables Road in Abergowrie, near Ingham.
The incident happened at a property near a sugar cane farm, in the small rural town, about 150 kilometres north of Townsville.
Police are investigating how the vehicle collided with the toddler, and have described the death as non-suspicious.
The ABC understands a resident tried to resuscitate the toddler until help arrived.
Officers from the forensic crash unit are investigating and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
