Mesa Public Schools will offer more educational choices to families by transitioning an elementary school into an accelerated learning campus and launching two new high schools for the 2026-27 academic year.

The Governing Board voted 5-0 earlier this month to create Franklin High School and Shepherd College Prep and repurpose Wilson Elementary into a Franklin Accelerated Academy.
