Fifth-seeded Wayne Hills defeated 12th-seeded Paramus 2-0 in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 Tournament in Wayne.
Abigael Huerta and Lily Dowd scored a goal apiece for Wayne Hills (14-4-1).
Huerta, a sophomore, has scored 17 goals this season.
Olivia Keenan earned the clean sheet with three saves in net for Wayne Hills.
Wayne Hills has won eight games in a row.
Paramus fell to 10-10.
Wayne Hills will play fourth-seeded Morris Knolls in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
