SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Crews are working to put out a fire at a building in Arden-Arcade on Wednesday night.

Firefighters responded to the fire just before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Marconi and Watt avenues.

KCRA reporter Peyton Headlee said the building appeared to be vacant, as there was a "For Lease" sign outside.

Roadways were shut down in the area as crews worked to handle the blaze. Find the latest traffic updates here .

By 11 p.m., crews appeared to have the flames under control, but a plume of smoke remained.

It's not clear if anyone was injured.
