THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University women's basketball team made a huge statement on Wednesday night, opening the season with a 103-32 rout of Talladega College at the AAMU Event Center.
The 103 points matched the most scored in the NCAA Division I era for the Bulldogs, tying the previous mark of 103 set in 2002 versus Savannah State.

Talladega, which shot 7.4 percent in the first half, got its first bucket from the floor with 4:33 remaining in the first half as AAMU had built a commanding 43-10 lead.
Kayln Ervin led four AAMU players in double figures with 14 points, on 4-of-7 shooting, along with six rebounds, fiv
