Bhubaneswar : A school student reportedly died after being run over by a speeding truck at Chheliapada village under Dharmasala police station in Jajpur district on Thursday morning.

According to reports, Ganesh Ghadai’s nine-year-old son was cycling on the road when he met with the mishap. The victim’s family rushed him to DharamsalaHospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The incident has sparked outrage among locals, who staged a roadblock demanding justice and compensation for the victim’s family. Protesters have blocked the road, demanding that heavy vehicles be banned from the route permanently.
