New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) As part of ongoing actions against the sources of pollution in Delhi, a total of 9,325 challans have been issued during the past 24 hours for vehicles violating pollution norms.

These challans were issued for different violations that include invalid pollution under control certificates, plying of restricted vehicles and several other parameters.

As part of the ongoing checks and work done on the field as part of anti- pollution drive, 454 complaints related to pollution were resolved, and 2348 MT of Construction and & Demolition waste lifted in the past 24 hours, which underline the scale of civic action, said environment minister Manjinder Sirsa.
