Resentment in police over political flip flops and contradictory instructions

A deep resentment is simmering in Tripura over flip flops at the political level in giving permission for political programmes of the opposition and then allowing unauthorized programmes of the ruling . Even though this has happened many times in the past , what happened in Satchand on Tuesday last has further fuelled the simmering anger. Sources from Sabroom said that on Tuesday last the Sabroom subdivisional committee of the CPI (M) in association with the Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) and the Tribal Youth Federation (TYF) had organised a massive procession for meeting in deputation with the BDO (Satchand) with a memorandum containing a seven point charter of demands . Appropriate permission from the police had been obtained in time and the procession had commenced in time under the leadersh
