The worst nightmare of the every arachnophobe has been discovered – a giant spider web spanning 1,140 square feet and home to 110,000 creepy-crawlies. Boffins found the "world's biggest" spider web on the border between Greece and Albania in a pitch-black cave. ‌

The giant colony of spiders was detailed in a study published on October 17 in the Subterranean Biology. The boffins noted the web is the largest ever discovered. ‌
