The worst nightmare of the every arachnophobe has been discovered – a giant spider web spanning 1,140 square feet and home to 110,000 creepy-crawlies. Boffins found the "world's biggest" spider web on the border between Greece and Albania in a pitch-black cave.
The giant colony of spiders was detailed in a study published on October 17 in the Subterranean Biology. The boffins noted the web is the largest ever discovered.
It is also the first evidence of two common spider species working together in a colony , said study
