GOLDEN MEADOW, La. (KLFY) -- A Golden Meadow man was arrested in connection with the stabbing of two female relatives.

Airron Billiot, 18, of Galliano, is being charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office deputies and officers with the Golden Meadow Police Department responded to a domestic incident at a residence on North 2nd Street.

Billiot was reportedly armed with a knife and was attacking family members. When officers arrived, they located Billiot, who surrendered and was immediately taken into custody.

They found two women – one in her 60s and one in her 30s – who each had a knife wound in the neck. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
