Areas of fog have developed across parts of Acadiana this Thursday morning, with the thickest fog located over the western parts of the state. Spring-like warmth and humidity is in the forecast for the afternoon as highs near 81° under partly cloudy skies. Lows tonight will fall into the mid 60s and we could see a few spotty showers throughout Friday morning.

Models continue to show a powerful cold front moving through Acadiana on Sunday morning. Winter-like air is expected early next week. The first frost of the season is looking likely Monday night. The first freeze of the season is possible as well, as models continue to trend colder.
