Fireworks were hurled at passers-by, cars and emergency services while large groups engaged in games of 'cat and mouse' with police on Bonfire Night .

Communities across Greater Manchester reported issues as officers and firefighters endured another busy November 5.

Large groups of youths gathered around Ordsall Park, in Salford , and Halliwell Road, in Bolton , where several officers were forced to attend.

And in Marple's Memorial Park, a 'disgraceful' fire was lit near the town's war memorial, four days before Remembrance Sunday.
