An Indian software engineer has touched countless hearts online after sharing an emotional video of him gifting his very first salary to his parents. In the now-viral clip, Aayushman Singh is seen asking his mother and father to sit together and close their eyes before placing the envelope of cash in their hands, a gesture that instantly lights up their faces with joy and pride.

“First salary, straight to parents. Far from perfect but this is all I got,” Singh captioned the video, which he posted on X.

As the parents open their eyes, Singh’s mother is taken aback. “Oh wow! What is this?” she asks, to which he replies with a smile, “ My first salary .” Beaming with pride, she exclaims, “Wow! Amazing. Awesome. That is a lot of money.”
