Kolkata, Nov 6 (PTI) A fire broke out at a godown in central Kolkata's R N Mukherjee Road on Thursday, an official said.

Six fire tenders were pressed into service to bring the blaze under control, she said.

The fire, which broke out around 10.45 am, was doused after nearly six hours, the official said.

No one was injured in the blaze at the godown, she said.

An investigation will be conducted to ascertain the cause of the fire, the official added. PTI AMR RBT
