The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India, has released a modified draft of the proposed amendments to the Policy Guidelines for Television Rating Agencies in India, originally notified on January 16, 2014.
Earlier this year, on July 2, 2025, the Ministry had sought feedback from stakeholders on proposed changes to the guidelines. After examining the comments received, the Ministry has now revised certain provisions and invited further feedback from stakeholders and the general public within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice—by December 5, 2025.
