COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police are investigating after a crash injured one person and temporarily shut down a local roadway.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the crash occurred near Nevada Avenue and Dublin Boulevard.

Police said the passenger, a woman, was seriously injured while the driver, a man, was in stable condition.

The southbound lanes on Dublin Boulevard heading onto Nevada Avenue are closed as officers investigate the crash. Police ask drivers to avoid the area.

Police told 11 News that alcohol is believed to be involved. Officers did not share whether any charges were filed.
