RICHMOND, Va. — The day after sealing her victory over Republican Winsome Earle-Sears as Virginia’s first female governor, Abigail Spanberger’s office announced key personnel for her transition team.
Spanberger, who represented Virginia in Congress before pursuing a post as the Commonwealth’s governor, is calling her transition team “United for Virginia’s Future.”
The team consists of Virginians from multiple areas in the state, including Northern Virginia, the Richmond area, and the Tidewater region.
Their professional experience ranges from stints on Capitol Hill to prominent positions in the Commonwealth’s university and healthcare systems.
