NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - An arrest has been made in connection to a deadly early-October shooting that took place in North Charleston.

Eric Malloy Mitchell, 28, of North Charleston, is charged with murder, attempted murder, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, sale or delivery of a stolen pistol and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Police say Mitchell was involved in an Oct. 2 killing on the 4800 block of Piedmont Avenue.

Investigators report that Mitchell shot and killed a man at that time. Police say they made the arrest Monday.

The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.

Mitchell was last being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center without bond for most charges.
