Claressa Shields has been one of the most dominant fighters in the world over the last few years. Now, she's getting paid to match her performance.

Shields announced a new two-year, $8 million multi-fight contract on CBS Mornings on Thursday, Nov. 11, marking one of the most lucrative deals in women's boxing.

"I'm so excited to get it out, I've been keeping it a secret for like a week," she said on the program.

Per Sportico , the deal is with Wynn Records and Salita Promotions.

The undisputed heavyweight champion in women's boxing most recently defended her belt in a unanimous decision over New Zealand's Lani Daniels at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on July 26.
