BOARDMAN & AUSTINTOWN - Two road closures will affect drivers in Boardman and Austintown Townships next week.

Beginning Wednesday, November 12, South Turner Road in Austintown will be closed between Fairview Road and Mahoning Avenue to complete necessary road construction.

The road will remain closed until the project is completed. No completion date was given for the project yet.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured from Fairview Road to Wilcox Road to Mahoning Avenue.

This will be a complete closure.

Meanwhile in Boardman, Shields Road will be closed between Glenwood Avenue and Market Street on Thursday, November 13 starting at 8 a.m. This closure is necessary for tree removal and will only last one day.

During the closure, the detour route will be Glenwood Avenu
