BOARDMAN Police in Boardman were called to an address in the township as part of the investigation into a deadly weekend shooting that occurred in an Akron suburb, according to a police report.

The Boardman Police Department's involvement began Sunday Morning when two officers were dispatched to a township address to assist the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI). Boardman police obscured the name of the street on their report.

A BCI special agent told a Boardman officer that investigators believed a suspect involved in a shooting at a party in Bath Township early Sunday had been at another party at the Boardman residence earlier on Saturday.
