The Kenai Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for its annual “Angel Tree” holiday program, which helps local families in need by providing gifts and essential items during the holiday season.
Executive Director Samantha Springer said the program, now in its second year, is designed to make giving and receiving help simple and confidential.
“That’s the program for any families that are in need this holiday season — whether it’s gifts for kids or basic family needs like bedding, socks, or winter gear,” Springer explained. “You can nominate a family, or sign up for your own. It’s completely anonymous.”
