Two people were shot and killed at a 7-Eleven in Burlington County Wednesday, Nov. 5, authorities said.
At 11:30 p.m., Bordentown police responded to the 7-Eleven/Valero Gas Station at 247 Route 130 after a man who had been shot in the parking lot walked inside and requested assistance, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw and Bordentown Township Police Department Officer-in-Charge Lt. Frank Nucera III sai.
The man, 22, collapsed outside and died, authorities said. A second shooting victim, a 21-year-old man, died after being taken to a Trenton hospital, authorities said.
Suspects fled the scene in a Jeep, which later crashed in Florence Township, authorities said. They remain at large, authorities said. The shooting is not believed to be a random attack, authorities said.
The victims have not been publicly identified. The shooting remains under investigation.
