LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is accused of killing a woman at a home with children present in Wilson County on Wednesday night, according to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said two children were at the home off Hunters Point when the homicide happened at about 9:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, the kids were outside and told authorities that their parents were inside. The children were not injured.

The suspect barricaded himself inside a bedroom with the woman before deputies got through the door, according to WCSO.

“The victim was found deceased from injuries sustained during an assault,” WCSO said.

The sheriff’s office described the situation as a domestic dispute.
