ATLANTA — A trial once scheduled to start this week for the 2022 disappearance and presumed death of Allahnia Lenoir is once again delayed.
Meanwhile, one of the three suspects who would have been on trial is unaccounted for and on the run. Authorities confirmed there is a "failure to appear" arrest warrant out for Nicholas Hendrickson.
"Where's the safety for me? Where's the respect for my family? And why did the court allow this to happen?" said Lenoir's mom, Jannette Jackson. "To say that it's unfair is an understatement at this point. It's egregious."
The official reason given for the rescheduling of the larger trial was that one of the attorneys involved, Brian Steel, had a conflict and needed a continuance.
