MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — A Muhlenberg County man has been arrested and charged with criminal abuse after an investigation involving a 7-month-old victim, according to Kentucky State Police.
KSP says the investigation started in September after Child Protective Services reported a 7-month-old victim being treated for multiple serious injuries.
According to KSP, investigators determined that 23-year-old Tristan Bolton of Greenville was responsible for the child's injuries.
A warrant was obtained for Bolton's arrest on the charge of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree. Bolton was arrested and booked into the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
Bolton has now been indicted by the Muhlenberg County Grand Jury on the criminal abuse charge.
KSP says the investigation is still ongoing.
