Friday night lights have always been an integral part of Garden State culture. From way up in Sussex County all the way down to Cape May, New Jersey has long been a hotbed for competitive and incredibly entertaining high school football games.

But just as important as the game on the gridiron is what’s cooking on the grill. The snack stand.

We’ve come a long way from the days of concession stands simply offering hot dogs, chips, candy and sodas. In 2025, some snack stands across New Jersey serve up full meals and items you’d expect at a restaurant, not a sporting event.

And no school in the state is topping Point Pleasant Beach High School’s snack bar.
