An Alabama man is behind bars after police raided a Dothan home and found 465 pounds of marijuana and enough fentanyl to kill the entire city, police said.
Vasquez Ramon Bryant, 37, is charged with trafficking marijuana and trafficking fentanyl.
The investigation began when a Dothan patrol officer carried out a traffic stop on Bryant Tuesday in the 3000 block of Ross Clark Circle.
Lt. Scott Owens said a search of the vehicle turned up 62 grams of blue pills that tested positive for fentanyl.
A subsequent search warrant at the Woodland Drive home yielded the marijuana haul – valued at $232,500.
Investigators also confiscated 700 more grams of fentanyl in pill form with an approximate street value of $105,000, 759 individual THC vape devices valued at $11,925, various drug paraphernalia
