East Hartford Public Schools and the Connecticut Science Center partnered together to create the lab, designed to give elementary students hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The first session for the fall is called Planet Hunters, where students get the chance to simulate a real-world NASA mission.
