HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford neighborhood can look forward to some new scenery following a new partnership between the city and Connecticut Children's.
Hartford and the hospital are teaming up to plant 200 trees in the Frog Hollow neighborhood.
CT Children's decided to plant 100 trees after the construction of a new parking garage resulted in the loss of some trees.
As a result, the City of Hartford matched the hospital's donation with 100 more.
"We took down seven trees, and we all decided that we would replant 100 trees," Alan Lazowski, CEO of LAZ Parking, said.
The trees are being planted around Rocky Ridge Park,
