ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A man was killed after a crash involving a motorcycle in Orangeburg County on Wednesday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the wreck happened just before 3 p.m. on Acme Street near Tunita Street in Eutawville. According to troopers, a 1997 Honda Goldwing trike motorcycle was heading west when it collided with a 2024 Ford SUV as it tried to make a left turn into a private driveway.
The driver of the motorcycle, 79-year-old William “Bill” Williams, died at the scene.
Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle added that Williams was a retired training director with Orangeburg County EMS.
