CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The Farmers’ Almanac, a staple for weather predictions, planting guides, and homespun wisdom for more than 200 years, has announced that its 2026 edition will be its last.
The publication's team shared the "very difficult but necessary decision" in a press release distributed Thursday, citing the 2026 edition as the "final chapter of this historical publication."
"After more than 200 years of sharing a unique blend of weather, wit and wisdom, we have had to make the very difficult but necessary decision to write the final chapter of this historical publication," the statement read.
