LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — According to a report from the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD), the first flu-related death in a Clark County resident has been reported for the 2025 season.
The person who died was identified as a man in his 80s. SNHD officials said reports of respiratory and influenza-like illnesses have been minimal, but that seasonal flu activity has increased. 17 influenza-associated hospitalizations have been reported in Clark County, officials said.
