The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released the 2024-2025 Annual Performance Report as part of the Missouri School Improvement Plan, known as MSIP 6, on Thursday. For three consecutive years, Springfield Public Schools has improved overall district performance and increased the percentage of students scoring advanced or proficient in all subjects.
For the 2024-2025 school year, SPS earned 166 points out of a possible 200, or 83 percent, up from 78.2 percent in 2024. SPS maintains its status as fully accredited by DESE.
